“I am excited and looking forward to the opportunity of serving as President of CCCS of San Francisco and BALANCE. This organization is highly regarded as a leader in providing quality education and counseling to help families achieve financial independence,” said Kathryn Davis.

Joanne Budde, who has served as President of CCCS since 1991, announced her planned retirement last September in order to give the board ample time to conduct an executive search. “We’ve been very fortunate to have had someone of Joanne’s caliber lead this organization,” Crone continued. “Her passion for helping consumers weather tough economic times, as well as helping them plan for a sound financial future is reflected in the many programs we’ve developed over the years.”

“It’s truly been an honor to serve as President of CCCS and BALANCE. We have an involved and diverse Board of Directors, and a staff that is committed to making a difference every day in the lives of those who turn to us for help and hope in dealing with their finances. I’ll miss them all very much but I know that they and the organization will continue to flourish and innovate with Kathryn Davis, “ said Budde.
