Psychological safety is affected by several factors, including the status of others, certainty and autonomy, and organizational change can threaten employees’ sense of safety, writes Ed Batista. “The best way to combat this is to build a feedback-rich culture, to make feedback less stressful (for the recipients and the givers), and to explicitly welcome it ourselves,” he writes.
