Mid Missouri CU announces Johnny O’Hare CEO
SAN FRANCISCO, May 10, 2013—The Mid Missouri Credit Union Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Johnny O’Hare as their new Chief Executive Officer to replace retiring executive Sharon Ichord. Sharon has invested over 38 years into her career with Mid Missouri, providing exemplary leadership locally, within the state of Missouri, and in support of national credit union venues. She will be handing over a well-respected, financially strong credit union that has a rich history of community development and member service. “Sharon’s departure after such a long and illustrious career will leave a tremendous personal and professional void. We feel most fortunate to have acquired the services of Johnny O’Hare as our next President/CEO and are confident he has the necessary education, experience and personal qualifications to continue our trend of growth and prosperity in the future,” said Chairman Jim Woods.
Johnny O’Hare comes to Mid Missouri from Fort Campbell Credit Union ($450M in assets) in Clarksville, TN where he has served as Chief Financial and Chief Information Officer. “I’m truly honored and humbled by the opportunity to join Mid Missouri Credit Union. As our current CEO Sharon Ichord steps down, I look forward to both the challenge of continuing her great legacy of success, and the opportunity to partner with my MidMo teammates as we approach our 60-year anniversary – a relevant, vibrant, and sound cooperative, 25,000 members strong and growing.”
