New Horizons Credit Union Name Lisa Corvo as New President/CEO

Gerald Easley, Chairman of the Board of Directors of New Horizons Credit Union has announced that Robert J. Dobilas, President/CEO of the Credit Union will retire on December 31, 2014. Mr. Easley also announced that Lisa M. Corvo will join New Horizons Credit Union as the President/CEO on January 1, 2015.

Lisa attended Springhill College where she first received her Bachelor Degree (Summa Cum Laude) and then her Masters Degree (Magna Cum Laude). While attending Springhill, Lisa was on the Dean’s Honor Roll and a Presidents Scholar.

Lisa has many years of Credit Union and Credit Union related experience. She is currently the Executive Vice President of Bonds Capital Group and former Vice President & Senior Consultant with FIMAC. She was employed with Corporate America Credit Union from 2005 to 2012 as Vice President of National Relations. She was President of Alabama Central Business Development from 2004-2005. Prior to that, she was employed at Alabama Credit Union, the Alabama Credit Union League and Central Credit Union of Florida. Lisa holds the Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

New Horizons Credit Union, formerly named Scott Credit Union, has been providing financial services to its members in Southwestern Alabama since 1950. It is the largest local credit union serving Mobile and Baldwin counties and continues to maintain the corporate office and senior management team in Mobile. Credit Unions are not for profit organizations and anyone who lives in Mobile, Baldwin, Washington, Clarke, Monroe or Escambia Counties in Alabama is eligible for membership. New Horizons has nine Branches including: West Mobile, Midtown Mobile, Saraland, Semmes, Theodore, Prichard, Daphne, Foley and Bay Minette, Alabama.
