(February 27, 2012) – San Francisco. –O’Rourke & Associates is pleased to announce that Jim Hansen will join the organization as a Senior Director. Everyone on the O’Rourke team is excited to have Jim on board as a key player in the execution of executive search and consulting services for our credit union clients states Mike Juratovac, Chief Executive Officer of O’Rourke.  Jim is extremely talented and aligns well with our integrity business model and corporate strategies that are focused on exceptional client service delivered by recognized industry leaders.

Previously, Jim was a Vice President with TMG Financial Services and Managing Director of CU Structured Finance, LLC. In these roles Jim promoted credit union collaboration and worked with credit unions on multiple investment and lending opportunities.

Jim has spent the bulk of his career working with credit unions as a Corporate Credit Union Executive. He served as President/CEO of VACORP Federal Credit Union and Chief Operating Officer of Southeast Corporate Federal Credit Union.  Jim also served as a Board Member of the CU Business Group, Board Member for the Credit Unions Care Foundation of Virginia and an Executive Committee Member of the Association of Corporate Credit Unions.  Jim’s prior recruitment, strategic consulting, and diverse industry leadership positions makes him a great fit for the O’Rourke team.

Jim earned his MBA from the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University and BS Finance from Florida State University. Jim works out of the firm’s new office in Des Moines, Iowa.
