Pinnacle Credit Union names Matthew G. Selke as President/CEO

ATLANTA, GA-September 5, 2014 The Board of Directors of Pinnacle Credit Union announces the appointment of Matthew (Matt) G. Selke as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 1, 2014.

Former CEO of Peoples Choice Credit Union in Wisconsin to focus on stability and growth of the credit union.

“Matt Selke’s experience as CEO of Peoples Choice Credit Union, CFO of Brewery Credit Union both in Wisconsin, as well as his experience as a Financial Examiner for the State of Wisconsin makes him well suited to lead Pinnacle Credit Union”, stated Dr. Gene Chandler, Chairman of the Board of Pinnacle Credit Union. “The Board is confident in the strength of his experience and leadership abilities.”

Matt comes to Pinnacle Credit Union after 7 years as CEO of Peoples Choice Credit Union where he maintained and grew a quality loan portfolio with delinquency and charge offs below peer in one of the most economically challenging times.

Prior to his service at Peoples Choice, Matt was Chief Financial Officer at Brewery Credit Union in Milwaukee. There he developed and instituted the operating and accounting procedures associated with an alternative payday lending program. He ensured that the Payday Lending program remained profitable, while allowing members to break the payday lending cycle.

Matt is a 2001 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and holds a degree is Business Administration.

Matt is a native of Wisconsin, married with one child.
