The Dow Louisiana Federal Credit Union Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Richard Williams as the Credit Union’s new Chief Executive Officer.   Williams is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Securityplus Federal Credit Union; a $360 million federally chartered credit union with over 32,000 members, based in Baltimore, MD. At SecurityPlus, he improved earnings by turning operating losses into over $300K in profits. By adding additional loan products, he improved mortgage loan originations as well as establishing an indirect lending program. He directed the redeveloped of their online banking platform to include account opening and funding, as well as electronic delivery and execution of loan documents.

Prior to joining SecurityPlus FCU, he was the Senior Vice President/Chief Lending Officer at Intouch Credit Union.  While there, he increased loan production by implemented new loan origination and collection platforms and online mortgage lending platforms.  He also established a business lending program and managed secondary market relationship with Fannie Mae.

Williams is a seasoned financial service executive that has served in variety of senior management roles related to commercial, consumer and mortgage lending.  In addition to his lending background, Rick has also managed and developed retail banking operations.  Rick holds a BSBA in Finance from the Ohio State University.
