Y-12 FCU announces Mark Ziegler as New CEO
SAN FRANCISCO, CA The Y-12 Federal Credit Union Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Mark Ziegler as the organization’s next President/Chief Executive Officer who will replace incumbent Tom Hilton who will retire later this year. “Tom Hilton joined Y-12 Federal Credit Union more than 20 years ago as President/CEO and has led Y-12 FCU to achieve goals that we never imagined when he came on board. We sincerely appreciate his leadership and dedication over the past 20 plus years and wish him the best in his retirement. Mark Ziegler brings to Y-12 FCU a proven track record of success and is a great fit for the culture that Tom has established. Ziegler brings over 30 years of credit union leadership experience to Y-12 FCU, currently serving as Chief Lending Officer at MAX Credit Union in Montgomery, AL where he oversees the organization’s credit administration, mortgage, consumer, and business lending and collections activities. Ziegler also serves as President of the credit union’s wholly owned subsidiary MAX Capital LLC. “I am honored to be named as the new CEO of Y-12 Federal Credit Union and I am excited about the opportunity to build upon Y-12’s history of success. I look forward to leading this financially strong and member focused credit union into the future.” Prior positions include Senior Vice President of Operations at Allied Solutions, a leading provider of financial services to credit unions nationwide. Mark began his credit union career in Texas where he progressed to the Chief Lending Officer role at Community Credit Union (now ViewPoint Bank) in Plano, TX.
Ziegler is a Certified Credit Union Executive, attended Texas State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, and Dallas Baptist University where he earned a Master’s in Business Administration. Additionally Ziegler holds Security Licenses Series 24, 7 and 63.
